Born and raised in London, Hannah spent her teenage years immersed in the world of high-end hospitality, working alongside a dedicated, family-run team at some of the city’s most exclusive venues. After completing sixth form, she felt the call of adventure and set her sights on the yachting industry. Starting her journey at sea, she quickly found her footing and worked her way up to Second Stewardess, enjoying several fulfilling years on board before deciding it was time to transition to life ashore.

Driven by a strong work ethic and a natural flair for people, Hannah joined JMS in April 2021. Since then, she has earned a formal qualification in recruitment and now brings four years of experience as a yacht recruiter. Her background at sea, combined with a wide-reaching network, allows her to stay closely connected to the industry she knows and loves, all while helping others chart their own yachting paths.

Her entry into yachting began with a simple yet life-changing moment: “Did you know there are girls out there that serve drinks on yachts and travel the world?” she recalls. Within moments, she had booked her STCW course and was on her way to Palma. From swiffering windows with ocean views, to stepping off at fuel docks, and soaking up downtime in incredible locations, every experience contributed to her global bucket list, and she relished every bit of it.

Hannah also took time for independent travel. Along with her partner, she bought a campervan (another small space to call home) and set off to explore new sights across Europe. This was followed by unforgettable journeys through Japan, New Zealand, and Australia, adventures that further shaped her love for travel and discovery.

Today, the travel pace has slowed a little, but life is no less full. Hannah shares her home with her beloved “fur son,” Biggie, named, of course, after Biggie Smalls and proudly admits she’s completely obsessed.
