Ramon has been immersed in the yachting industry since 2017, bringing over seven years of hands-on experience and dedication to our team. His career began as a deckhand and has progressed impressively to his current role as Chief Mate on vessels up to 1600 GT, a testament to his skill, perseverance, and passion for the sea.
Fluent in English, Catalan, and Spanish, Ramon enhances our team with his multilingual communication abilities, facilitating seamless collaboration across diverse crews and international waters.
His path has not been without challenges. A serious back injury once threatened to sideline his career, but Ramon’s determination and resilience saw him through a demanding recovery. He returned stronger than ever, earning the title of Chief Mate and reaffirming his place on deck. His guiding principle, “An hour of planning can save you ten hours of doing,” speaks to his strategic mindset and commitment to operational excellence.
Ramon is a firm believer in the strength of teamwork. For him, collaboration and mutual support are the cornerstones of any successful mission at sea.
Beyond his professional pursuits, Ramon is an adventurer at heart. Whether he’s surfing waves, sailing with friends, or hiking through mountainous terrain, his love for the outdoors is ever-present.
From his early days on a sailing yacht to his current leadership roles as Chief Officer and Project Manager, Ramon’s journey has been marked by growth, grit, and an unwavering passion for maritime life.
